I am really fed up with England's bitterly cold weather at the moment, so much so that I decided to bring out some of the more summery clothing from my wardrobe. Theoretically, this sounded like a good idea to me, but when put in practise, I'm not sure if the clothing compensated for my hands, which became as dry a rich tea biscuits! If you're thinking of wearing summery clothing in the colder season, then I would seriously recommend a lot of layering! A good wool scarf will never let you down in keeping you warm, I swear by it!
When I first flicked through these photos, I couldn't help but think that I resemble an olive stuffed with garlic; (a surprisingly delicious combination!) hence the slightly ambiguous title. I really love lace, it's a wonderful and elegant fabric, so I decided to pair the creamy coloured lace from the top with the green lace on the skirt. I think this outfit hits a few notes of contrast as well as looking strikingly similar.

I love your combination of lace top with lace skirt - it looks so elegant and pretty :) I get really dry hands in the cold weather too, but the best thing I've found for them is Almond hand & nail cream from the Body Shop - it's amazing! It absorbs really quickly, and smells delicious! xx
